This weekend marks the time of year for Oktoberfest in Greenville, SC at the Peace Center Gunter Theatre. The Greenville tradition combines German and Austrian music performed by the Greenville Symphony Chamber Orchestra to be followed by a free, beer tasting provided by Thomas Creek Brewery, open to the entire audience. Musical selections will feature Handel: Alexander’s Fest, Overture; J.S. Bach: Suite No.; Mendelssohn: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Overture; and Hayden: Symphony No. 92 “Oxford”.
