The Runway Café is a new restaurant open to the public at the Downtown Greenville Airport. According to the July 2010 issue of Greenville Business Magazine, the airport has wanted a restaurant at their facility for several years. This new café features an aviation themed menu at affordable prices families will enjoy. A 3,000 square foot hanger is also available for business gatherings, public functions, or parties.

The restaurant isn’t the only new business to the airport. Also in the works is a public park complete with walking trail and play area for children. Currently, the airport is looking for a partner to work with in the development of the proposed park and play area.

The grand opening of the Runway Café was September 1, so if you are looking for a new restaurant to try, support local businesses and drive on down to the Runway Café to see what the buzz is all about!
