According to a recent survey conducted by a site of the National Association of Realtors, Realtor.com, the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson area was one of the top searched markets in the country in January 2011. The only other South Carolina cities listed in the search were Myrtle Beach and Columbia.

The survey monitors real estate trends in 250 Metro Service areas, looking at data for consumer search behavior, median list prices on for sale properties, active inventory counts and days on site.

The Greenville area ranked 59 in the survey. Rounding out the top ten markets for January were Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles/Long Beach, Phoenix/Mesa, Las Vegas, Dallas, Tampa/St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Atlanta, Orlando and Philadelphia.
