October 8-10 marks the 29thanniversary of the city’s annual St. Francis Fall for Greenville festival. This year over 40 local restaurants will be showcasing their food in the run for Best Restaurant. On average, Fall for Greenville attracts between 150,000-200,000 people, easily making this local street festival one of the largest free events in the south east.

Events for the weekend include a chili cook-off, jalapeno eating contest, a waiter’s race, bartender’s mix-off, culinary demonstrations, wine tasting, and tent decorating to name a few. There is even a designated area for kids with fun activities and rides. With over 50 musicians performing throughout the festival weekend, you’ll be sure to find something that suits your musical taste.
